This course provides an introduction to the advanced title creation and image animation capabilities of Avid Marquee. The course covers the fundamentals of compositing and animation techniques, as well as working with the Marquee timeline and commands. PE 130 Input and Output Essentials for Avid Editing Systems

XP 101 Editing with Avid Xpress Pro
This course provides an in-depth introduction to the techniques of nonlinear editing on the Avid Xpress Pro system. This course provides an in-depth introduction to creating visual effects on Avid Xpress Pro. Topics include: creating multilayered effects, keyframing effects, creating effect templates, mixing DV and HD clips in an effect composite, working with AVX plug-in effects, creating motion effects and timewarp effects, nesting layers, and working with the Xpress 3D effects. PE 239 Color Correction with Media Composer and Xpress Pro
Designed for the intermediate user, this course explains how to color correct a sequence on Avid Media Composer and Avid Xpress Pro. The editor will learn how to color correct each shot in a sequence, perform shot-to-shot color corrections, make sure the color and luminance are within safe broadcast limits, and create a treatment for an entire sequence.
